Walking alone through the alley, you'll encounter Shinmi Restaurant, a long-established seonji-gukbap specialty restaurant that is quite famous in Dong-gu. The gukbap contains large chunks of seonji, and if you finish it and ask for more, they'll refill it for you—where else can you find such generous hospitality? In addition to seonji, the gukbap also contains cheonyeop (tripe), sirae-gi (dried radish greens), and buchu (Chinese chives), and you can feel a spicy kick as if seasoned with pepper. It's served boiling hot in a stone pot, so you can enjoy it warm throughout your meal.
