Uam Historic Park

This park was established to honor and preserve the legacy of Uam Song Si-yeol, a renowned Confucian scholar of the late Joseon period who cultivated Confucian thought in this area. The park preserves historically significant cultural heritage including Namgan Jeongsa, where Song Si-yeol taught his disciples and devoted himself to scholarship in his later years, Giguk Jeong with its outstanding architectural beauty, and Songja Daejeon Pan, a collection of Song Si-yeol's writings. Beyond these cultural treasures, the park is beautifully maintained throughout, making it an ideal retreat for citizens seeking respite in the heart of the city.
