Panam Myeonok

A long-established naengmyeon restaurant in Panam-dong with a rich history. Like many naengmyeon restaurants, it serves myeonsoo (noodle broth) instead of water, which aids digestion before eating cold noodles. The basic side dish is pickled radish, which is pleasantly tangy and pairs well with naengmyeon. Panam Myeonok serves Pyongyang-style naengmyeon using domestic Bongpyeong buckwheat flour and chicken. The rich yet mild chicken broth is topped with shredded chicken, and the seasoning is appropriately salty, making it more flavorful than typical Pyongyang naengmyeon.
