Panam Myeonok

A long-established cold noodle restaurant in Panam-dong with a rich history. Like many cold noodle restaurants, it serves noodle broth instead of water, which soothes the stomach when consumed before eating cold noodles. The basic side dish is pickled radish, which has a tangy flavor that pairs perfectly with cold noodles. Panam Myeonok uses Pyongyang-style cold noodles made with domestic Bongpyeong buckwheat flour and chicken. It features a rich and mild chicken broth with chicken toppings, and the seasoning is quite savory, making it taste better than typical Pyongyang cold noodles which tend to be bland.
